Auckland's west coast is a wonder of nature where the great Tasman sea rolls into vast black sand beaches along a rocky coastline. The famous NZ movie "The Piano", winner of the Prix d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, was filmed near here.
After a one hour bus trip across the Waitakere Ranges west of Auckland, the group stopped for an educational experience at the Visitors' Centre high on a mountain overlooking the Manukau Harbour, with Auckland City on the other side. Next was a bush walk of 45 minutes into the great Kauri forest with ancient trees, jungle-like foliage and bridges across swampy streams. The group enjoyed the magical atmosphere of a true New Zealand rain forest.
Our journey then continued down to the coast where we enjoyed soccer on the huge beach and some of the group climbed an unusual rocky hill behind the beach. After a picnic on the sand dunes and a walk along the beach we returned to Auckland by 4:30pm.

I'm Thaina and I am from Curitiba in Brazil. I have studied English at other schools, in Brazil and overseas, and I can honestly say Dynaspeak English is the best. The reason is simple: the Dynaspeak English course is exceptional! Dynaspeak's completely different speaking class, with only 8 students, really works!
