Opening with two exciting Haka (New Zealand Maori Warrior's challenge, or "Dance"), a range of cultural performances from around the Pacific Islands followed. Students and teachers also offfered items from their countries including a ballad from Brazil, a sacred chant from India, a love song from Korea - and even some Russian-style Hip Hop! There was also some great food!

My name is Yuko and I am from Yokohama
in Japan. Before I came to New Zealand I was worried about my Homestay
family and whether they would like me. I did not need to worry, my
host family was very kind to me and I was sad to leave them when I went
travelling. Dynaspeak English is a great school and the staff and my
homestay hosts are now like my second family.
